The role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in international accounting, intercompany operations, financial consolidation, and multi-jurisdiction reporting. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting across multiple legal entities and markets while supporting the company's growth and operational complexity.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent analytical skills and hands-on experience using modern accounting systems.
Your Responsibilities
Manage the full accounting cycle for multiple legal entities across different jurisdictions.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform and reconcile complex intercompany transactions, balances, and eliminations.
Lead the consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities and countries.
Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and reporting requirements in both Spain and the United States.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and local accounting providers.
Assist in the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements.
Monitor and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting accuracy.
Prepare management reports and financial analyses to support business decisions.
Support ERP and accounting system optimization initiatives.
Collaborate closely with FP&A, Operations, HR, and Leadership teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in international or multi-entity environments.
Strong knowledge of:
US GAAP
Spanish Accounting Standards (PGC)
Financial statement preparation and consolidation
Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
Transfer Pricing principles and practical application
Hands-on experience with at least one of the following systems:
NetSuite
QuickBooks
A3 Software
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice-to-have skills
Experience in SaaS, technology, data, or high-growth international companies.
Experience managing accounting operations across Europe and the United States.
CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience with ERP implementations or finance transformation projects.
Knowledge of reporting and consolidation tools.
