As a Junior Accountant, you will have a unique opportunity to join a brand-new team and play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting financial reporting and analysis activities.

The role

As a Junior Accountant at Shalion, your responsibilities include:

• Prepare daily journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
• Monitor and record daily cash activity.
• Provisions and accruals of expenses.
• Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in the accounting and reconciliation process.
• Assist in year-end audits.

Your profile should include the following:

• 2+ years of experience working in an accounting department, preferably in a multinational.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Exceptional self-management and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication abilities and assertiveness.
• Experience using A3 is an advantage.
• Fluent in Spanish and English is required.
